Classic Bento Workshop Nov. 16th!

This 3-hour workshop will feature signature items that are famous in traditional Japanese lunches. Learn how to cook these dishes and how to pack them into a bento box. You will leave the class with fundamental bento skills, tips and tricks and with a recipe sheet for everything covered during the workshop.  The items we will be focusing on during this class are:

  • Tamagoyaki (rolled omelet)
  • Onigiri (rice balls)
  • Umeboshi (Pickled plum)
  • Apple bunnies
  • Basic Bento skills


This is a hands-on class in a small kitchen setting. No special cooking experience or tools are needed. You don’t need to own a bento box in order to enjoy this workshop. However, if you have one please feel free to bring it along!

Participants can be of any age, though participants under 17 need to be accompanied by an adult. (Accompanying adults do not need to pay for the workshop if they are not going to participate.)

Cancellation: There is a minimum number of participants required or the workshop will be cancelled. If too few people reserve and it is cancelled, you will receive a full refund and an email notification. Cancellation of your reservation will be accepted with a full refund until one week before the class date.  At that point the reservation is non-refundable.
